On July 25, 2018, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine organized a large-scale summit in Tel Aviv on trade and economic cooperation between Israel and Ukraine. The Ukrainian Trade Mission Summit addressed the most pressing issues related to the economy and the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. During the course of the day, influential representatives of the corporate and public sectors delivered their speeches. Among them were Dr. Zvi Marom, founder and CEO of BATM and chairman of the board of directors of the Israeli Hi-tech Association, and Ami Levin, department director at Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Head of the supervisory board, Evgeny Shulgin, and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine, Vlad Cherkassky, presented their expert opinions on the prospects for the development of a strategic partnership between Israel and Ukraine, as well as plans for the next 3 years.

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Stepan Kubiv, was the guest of honor and head of the Ukrainian delegation. The Ukrainian Trade Mission Summit was attended by Knesset officials, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology, representatives of the foreign ministries of both countries and heads of many leading Israeli companies from various sectors of the economy. In view of the positive reviews of the guests and having appreciated the effectiveness of the selected format, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine intends to continue to organize such events in the future.
