From May 20 to 27, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine (legal name – the Chamber of Industry and Innovation Israel-Ukraine) paid a working visit to Ukraine, during which memorandums of cooperation were signed, and round tables with representatives of municipalities and business communities of Ukrainian cities were held.

Within the framework of a week-long visit, the head of the supervisory board Evgeny Shulgin, CEO Vlad Cherkassky and a member of the board of directors Moshe Daniel have visited Zhytomyr, Obukhiv, Vinnytsia and Kharkiv. With each of the cities, the Chamber of Industry and Innovation Israel-Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation, which gives a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations between Israel and Ukraine. Also, round tables were held with representatives of municipalities and business communities, which allowed to get acquainted with the initiatives of cities, their current business projects, investment interests and opportunities for bilateral cooperation with Israel.




The visit of the Chamber of Industry and Innovation Israel-Ukraine was positively received by the public in each of the cities, and also widely covered in Ukrainian media.



It is worth noting that the first stage of negotiations between the Ukrainian cities and the Chamber of Industry and Innovation Israel-Ukraine took place in February 2019 during the first in the history The Israeli Ukrainian Muni Summit in Tel Aviv, organized by the Chamber of Industry and Innovation Israel-Ukraine and the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel. The event was held as part of a large-scale exhibition and conference MUNI WORLD in co-organization with the UN. The core of the Ukrainian delegation was made up of mayors and representatives of municipal authorities from ten cities of Ukraine headed by Vitali Klitschko.
