In 2022, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine, in partnership with the Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid, launched a fundraising campaign to support Ukrainians affected by hostilities.
Private contributions, along with the support of Israeli companies, helped procure 9 tons of humanitarian and medical aid, which was sent to the city of Kharkiv (turnstiles, bandages, hemostatic gauze, surgical and hygiene kits, and much more) and medical equipment and tools for the hospital of the city of Irpin (including ultrasound and respiratory devices, defibrillators, pulse oximeters, medical flashlights and scissors). Also, in agreement with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, generators were purchased and delivered to medical institutions in need – the Center for Primary Health Care in the city of Vesnyansk (Mykolaiv Region), the Novo-Odesa Center for Primary Health Care (Mykolaiv Region), the Berezivka Central City Hospital (Odesa Region), the Okny Multidisciplinary hospital (Odesa Region).
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Ukraine extends gratitude to all the people and companies whose generosity made this humanitarian project possible.
