Termination of membership

At the initiative of a Chamber member, based on a written statement of resignation from the Chamber submitted by that member to the Board of Directors. The statement of resignation from the Chamber takes effect 30 days later.

Upon the termination of a member’s activities due to the dissolution of a legal entity, or upon the death of an individual member.

In the event that a member of the Chamber is removed from membership by the authorized bodies.

The General Assembly of the Chamber’s members, based on a recommendation from the Board of Directors, is authorized to expel a member of the Chamber for the following reasons:

• 4.1. In the event of nonpayment, including partial payment, of membership dues
• 4.2. In the event of failure to comply with the provisions of the bylaws and/or the resolutions of the Chamber’s general meeting
• 4.3. In the event of actions that are inconsistent with the Chamber's objectives
• 4.4. If found guilty of committing a crime involving moral turpitude

Procedure for Terminating Membership by the General Meeting

The Chamber’s Board of Directors may not recommend to the general meeting that a member be expelled until the member has been given a fair opportunity to present their case before the Board of Directors, or in the case of violations described in paragraphs 1–3, without first giving the member an opportunity to remedy the violations within a reasonable time frame.

The termination of membership is entered into the Chamber’s registry

As of the date of termination of membership, the member loses their status as a Chamber member and all rights associated with that status. However, obligations arising during the period of membership, including the payment of membership dues, must be fulfilled in full. Membership fees and any other paid fees are non-refundable.
